Gotta Go Mitts

"Protects child’s hands from wetness and germs in public restrooms!”

From the inventor: Gotta Go Mitts reduce the anxiety parents have when their children say they “Gotta Go” when away from home! Gotta Go Mitts are the best product on the market for protecting your child’s hands from wetness and germs on unsanitary public toilets when your child has to hold on for balance, lift the seat, touch the flush lever, or like most toddlers, examine the bathroom floor and anything else interesting!

Gotta Go Mitts are made from a 100% polyethylene material and are completely waterproof. The mitts are very thin, not bulky, for a comfortable fit which allows the child to feel what they are touching. Due to the wide opening, design and material, the Gotta Go Mitts slip on hands very easily and fit a wide range of hand sizes up to age 7.

The small discreet packaging fits into your purse, pocket, or diaper bag easier compared to the larger packaging for disposable toilet seat covers or take along personal toilet seats. The packaging was designed to have enough room in the bag to allow the mitts to be dispensed quickly one at a time without all the mitts being pulled out. The thin package is only 6 ½ inches x 5 ¼ inches and contains 20 mitts.

Gotta Go Mitts are great also for keeping your child’s hands clean while eating lollipops or anything else sticky or messy while away from home when you are without wipes, especially in the car. Gotta Go Mitts can also be used during cold and flu season as a barrier against unsanitary grocery cart handles.

Qty: 20 mitts/pkg.

Price: $3.99

Size: Ages 2 – 7

My take: When I first heard of this product, I thought "why didn't I think of that?" So simple yet so effective. Especially for my family - for my daughter because she has always been very oral - we have an ultrasound of her sucking her thumb while in the womb and now at 5, she's still doing it - so germs get into her quite often that way. And for my son, because he has food allergies and I cringe when he has to touch the grocery store cart handles and the like - who knows what allergens are lurking there? And don't get me started on the germs in the portable toilets that line our beach during the summer...bleh! From now on, I'm keeping Gotta Go Mitts in my purse for such occasions (I love how small the package is - no bulk to my purse at all). They are simple to use - just like disposable kitchen gloves but made to fit little hands perfectly. We use them for crafts too - perfect when using food dye on our homemade play dough! Really a great product and one I'm glad to have been able to try out.

About SLKD Enterprise, LLC: My name is Stephanie Dellamura, a stay-at-home mom and mother of three. I developed Gotta Go Mitts out of a need for my three boys. I dreaded the whole public restroom experience, especially porta potties during fairs, etc. Whenever we ventured into a restaurant or store, it was assured one of them would have “to go”. I began using sandwich bags to cover their hands. Without allowing flexibility for the thumb, the bags did not allow them to grab the toilet seat easily for balance or stay on their hands. When away from home, I also needed something to cover their hands while they ate those sticky lollipops given to them by bank tellers, hairstylists, etc. Their hands would inevitably become wet and sticky without a wipe to be found in the car or my purse. After doing extensive research and not finding products on the market that were adequate, I decided to develop the Gotta Go Mitts. Two out of three moms surveyed during my product development research stated they felt the same way and would use the mitts for their children. The small discreet packaging fit easily in their purse and pockets unlike the larger packages of the disposable toilet covers. Email: info@gottagomitts.com; Web: www.GottaGoMitts.com
